Today, we went for a quick drive to the river. The Columbia River is about 15 miles south of where we live and it made for the perfect vantage point for this daily photo category of “down low”.

As you can see, there is a lot of burned country side here. There’s also a lot of smoke still across the horizon from fires in Oregon. Even still, it was a pretty sight. I haven’t been to the river in years due to my health so I was glad to see it for the first time in a long time!
