Still Life: Words to Live By

Hello Everyone!

If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know that I quit my Photo-A-Day Project two months early to pursue a different type of creative project. I’m finally get close to it being done but still have about 1.5 weeks to go. In the mean time, I took a little time this morning to play in my studio. I wanted to showcase a bible verse that has come to mean so much to me. Living with a chronic illness means that everyday is a struggle and I feel like I’ve been waiting for forever for God to heal me.

But His timing is perfect and I trust that and this verse is always a good reminder for me to read:

Is-40-31

Here’s another photo I took:

My husband’s Grandmother let me borrow a few of her antiques and this old typewriter was one of them. Isn’t it fabulous?! Another one was the old Milk Jug you see in this photo, too.

It’s days like today I need to focus on God’s word. I (unfortunately) caught my husband’s cold today. I live with chronic pain all day every day but today, with the addition of this cold, the pain has ramped up to a good 7 out of 10 and I’m pretty miserable. If you’re the praying kind, I’d sure appreciate one to get through the next few days!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope these images inspire or encourage you in some small way!

Love, Jen
