A Winter’s Day: Playing in the Snow

This winter has been intense. We’ve had quite a few days with temperatures below 20˚F. Whenever it gets this cold, it brings me back to my days of living in North Dakota. The cold temps are also very hard on me pain wise. The winter always seems to make my chronic illness worse.

But earlier this week, we had a beautiful afternoon. There was no wind, the sun was shining, and so I took the dogs outside to romp around.

Here are a few of my favorite shots I got:

Sadie and Bilbo had a great time chasing each other around! They played and played while Penny watched from the front porch. It was nice to see them getting along for awhile.

Thanks for looking and I hope you all have a great weekend!

  1. Oh, winter, it can be so beautiful. It can also be hard on us – the bone chilling cold and lack of sunshine. Watching animals and kids play in the snow helps to remind us to smile through it all. Thanks for sharing your pictures, Jenifer.
